Former President Donald Trump has taken a slight lead over Democratic rival and Vice President Kamala Harris in a recent poll ahead of the November 5 elections. According to a national survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal, Trump leads Harris by two percentage points, with 47% support compared to Harris’s 45%. The survey indicates that public perception of Harris has shifted negatively since August, when her favorability and unfavorability ratings were equal. In contrast, Trump’s ratings have improved, with 52% of voters now approving of his presidency, the highest level seen during this election cycle. Additionally, CBS News reports an increase in Trump’s favorability ratings. As of now, more than 31 million Americans have cast their votes, nearly 12 days ahead of the general elections. Of these, 13.6 million voted in person, while 17.7 million submitted mail-in ballots.
