“Joining Vice President Harris in this race is the honor of a lifetime,” Walz stated, echoing his enthusiasm for the campaign. He emphasized Harris’s vision for politics and expressed his excitement with a social media post likening the campaign to the first day of school.
Walz’s selection is seen as a strategic move to attract Midwestern voters, especially those in battleground states like Wisconsin and Michigan.
