In recent statements, actress Kangana Ranaut has voiced strong support for the release of her film ‘Emergency,’ which has been delayed amidst controversy over its depiction of Khalistani separatist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. Ranaut expressed surprise at the objections raised about portraying Bhindranwale as a terrorist. “He wasn’t a saint with an AK47 in a temple,” she asserted. “If he is indeed a terrorist, then there should be no reason for the film to remain unreleased.”
