Former President Donald Trump has voiced his astonishment and excitement regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’s selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. During a call to “Fox and Friends” on Wednesday morning, Trump expressed his disbelief and enthusiasm about the choice.
“I can hardly believe it. I never expected Walz to be the one picked,” Trump stated. “He is extremely liberal, and this selection is quite surprising. I am absolutely thrilled. I could not be more thrilled.”
When asked if his campaign had anticipated Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as the VP choice, Trump suggested that Shapiro would have been a more suitable pick.
“I believe Shapiro would have been a better choice,” Trump commented. “I would have considered other options as being more favorable as well.”
